Note! The thermometer is not impact-resistant. It must not be scalded or disinfected.

 

How to use

Before the first use, check the condition of the thermometer. The thermometer can be used at home, in clinics and hospitals. Do not use the thermometer if it was damaged. Always operate the thermometer in an operating temperature range 5°C to 40°C (41°F to 104°F), and relative humidity 15 to 93%.  Always store the thermometer in a cool and dry place -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 158°F) and relative humidity 15% to 93%. The thermometer and the subject must remain in a stable environment for at least 30 minutes before measuring the temperature. Avoid direct sunlight. This thermometer is clinically proven to produce accurate temperature measurements. However, please be advised that the accuracy can not be ensured when the thermometer is not clean. Check that the probe is clean before taking a measurement. If you anticipate that you will not be using the device for an extended period of time, remove the battery. It is also recommended to replace the battery even while the device is still working. The device is not waterproof. Do not wash the device under running water and do not submerge the device in water. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the thermometer. NOTE! The thermometer does not emit any infrared energy. Remember always follow basic safety precautions, especially when the thermometer is used with or near children, people with disabilities.
